on monday i officially decided to start the medical assisting program at stevens henegar! i am really excited about it! i go in for a registration meeting on thursday at 4 pm and orientation is at 6 pm that same day! {{hoping that everything works out, like finances and schedule}} classes will start on monday the 31st from 6pm to about 8:30 pm! and if i pass a reading test on monday i will only have to go to classes on monday and wednesdays for the first couple of months! i am really excited about this! i am planning on moving to ogden the first of june so i am starting in the ogden campus, which means a little bit of a commute for a while but it will all be worth it! i am just excited to have the social aspect of school again and also be able to do something that i am interested in!
because it will be night classes, that does mean i will have to quit at icon! i just got the job in december so that is kind of stressful and crappy but if everything works out with the grant i am hopefully getting, it should all work out fine! i can't wait for the program to be done so i can start a salary job that has benefits and the future won't look as scary! :)) i will be able to work with people daily and work in an environment that is interesting and fun!
i had a doctor's appointment last friday and while i was standing on the dreadful scale {{weight will not be spoken}} i asked the medical assistant doing it how she liked her job?? she couldn't stop talking about how much she liked it and how fun it is! it got me really excited! that is what finalized it in my mind and got me to actually call come monday! it is going to be a lot of work and probably stressful at times but in the long run so rewarding!
i will make sure to keep my blog updated with what is going on with everything and i hope to get some loves along the way! keep me motivated and focused! :))
